Lighting Panels

Lighting panels manage the distribution, protection, and control of indoor and outdoor lighting circuits from a single point. Wrong circuit grouping or inadequate protection selection lets a single fault plunge a wide area into darkness. A correctly designed lighting panel directly affects both operational safety and energy efficiency.

Miratek addresses lighting panels together with the lighting design; circuit grouping, residual current protection, and emergency lighting segregation are settled at the design stage. Needs such as time relays, twilight sensors, or DALI- and KNX-based automation are integrated into the panel from the outset. Manufacturing, site installation, and commissioning are handled end to end.

How We Work

1

Site survey and needs analysis

Lighting circuits, control scenarios, and the emergency lighting need are determined in place.

2

Design

Circuit grouping, protection selection, and the control architecture are settled on the design and submitted for approval.

3

Panel manufacturing

The panel is manufactured in the workshop; labelling and circuit diagram documentation are prepared.

4

Site installation

Panel installation and circuit connections are carried out without disturbing the existing operating routine.

5

Testing and commissioning

Residual current tests, control scenarios, and emergency lighting transfers are verified.

Scope of Work

  • Design and manufacturing of indoor and outdoor lighting distribution panels
  • Segregation of emergency lighting and exit guidance circuits within the panel
  • Control integration based on astronomical relays, sensors, and automation
  • Per-circuit protection and residual current coordination
  • Supply panels for area and road lighting
  • Installation, testing, and commissioning

Frequently Asked Questions

Does adding automation to a lighting panel save energy?

Yes. Outdoors, astronomical relay or sensor control eliminates unnecessary burn hours; indoors, DALI-based control cuts consumption through zoned switching and dimming. The gain is evaluated at the design stage against the facility's usage profile.

Can an emergency lighting circuit be added to our existing panel?

It can, if the panel's capacity and construction are suitable. The existing panel is examined during the survey, and the revision scope needed to protect and supply the emergency lighting circuits separately is reported. If it is unsuitable, a separate emergency lighting panel is recommended.
