Collaboration
Together with Zirve Enerji Solar, we run a comprehensive engineering partnership on solar power plant (SPP) projects, spanning from feasibility analysis to turnkey commissioning. On both ground-mounted and rooftop systems, we jointly plan and execute engineering design, DC/AC cabling, inverter integration, and grid connection processes in the field. Miratek's medium voltage and electrical contracting experience combines with Zirve Enerji Solar's solar-focused approach to deliver standards-compliant, sustainable solutions for both licensed and unlicensed generation facilities.
Challenge
The most critical stage in solar power plant investments is accurately analyzing the site's energy potential and transferring the generated power to the grid in full compliance with standards. Ground-mounted and rooftop installations each demand distinct engineering decisions with respect to ground conditions, roof load capacity, shading analyses, and grid connection requirements. Keeping DC-side cabling losses low, coordinating inverters, and ensuring protection compatibility at the MV connection point all call for a holistic design approach — both for generation efficiency and for regulatory compliance.
The Miratek Solution
Together with Zirve Enerji Solar, we addressed each project starting from the feasibility stage. Following site and roof assessments, generation forecasts, and the preparation of single-line diagrams, we implemented supporting structures and panel layouts on ground-mounted systems and mounting solutions suited to the structural load on rooftop systems. DC/AC cabling, inverter placement, and string configurations were engineered to reduce losses and simplify maintenance. During the grid connection process, protection coordination was carried out in line with TEDAS and EMRA (EPDK) requirements as well as IEC standards; where projects required it, the MV connection point and transformer infrastructure were installed in an integrated manner with Miratek's medium voltage teams. The process was completed with field tests and turnkey commissioning.

Which SPP services does the Miratek and Zirve Enerji Solar partnership cover?+
The partnership covers every stage of solar power plants, from feasibility analysis to turnkey commissioning. Ground-mounted and rooftop installations, supporting structures, panel mounting, inverter integration, DC/AC cabling, grid connection, and protection coordination all fall within this scope.
What is the difference between ground-mounted and rooftop SPP installations?+
Ground-mounted (field-type) systems are installed on supporting structures in open areas and are generally suited to higher-capacity generation. Rooftop systems are mounted on the roof of an existing building, taking load capacity and shading analyses into account. In both approaches, Miratek delivers project-specific engineering solutions.
How is the grid connection process managed in SPP projects?+
The grid connection process is planned in line with TEDAS and EMRA (EPDK) requirements and the applicable IEC standards. Protection relay coordination and connection point design are addressed, and where needed, medium voltage and transformer infrastructure are handled in an integrated way; commissioning takes place after field testing.
Can Miratek be engaged for an unlicensed solar energy investment?+
Yes. Miratek delivers turnkey SPP solutions for both licensed and unlicensed generation facilities, from feasibility through commissioning. Depending on the scale of the investment and site conditions, ground-mounted or rooftop installation options are evaluated and the project is executed in full regulatory compliance.
